Become a Wine Discoverer!

A wine tasting in an oldtimer plane while crossing Rheinhessen’s vineyards, a wine tasting in Wuppertal’s famous magnetic levitation train, colour wine tasting, a wine flash mob in Koblenz, a grape harvest workshop in the wine region Rhenisch Pfalz, wine geocaching in Hesse, a zodiac sign wine tasting in the Planetarium of the saxonian city Schkeuditz, the topic “Wine and Water” in Germany’s oldest outdoor swimming pool, a murderous wine reading at a crime literature festival or the seminar “Opening Wines” with swords, knives, ice, fire or glasses in Hamburg… the Wine Discoverer Weeks taking place all over Germany simply are fantastic!

The range of creative activities of our more than 200 partners for the annual “Wine Discovery Weeks” for the client German Wine Institute is quite impressive. Since 2012, wine retailers and gastronomes have been bringing German wines to the spotlight during those two weeks, in an extremely tasty and entertaining way!

In addition, urban wine lovers can enjoy the special treat of the “Open Wine Days” in ten German cities: During this wine safari, 200 wine shops and restaurants are dedicated to German wines for a whole day and serve wine to the discoverers. What kind? German wines, of course!
